"Date Night"

In Italy, Saturday night is "date night".  If you have a wife, girlfriend, or female interest, and you want to keep her, you take her out on Saturday.  We decided to partake in the ritual and spent our Saturday evening having aperitivos at a Mexican restaurant down the street from our gym.  Aperitivos is different from "happy hour" in that you order a drink (which is usually a bit overpriced: 6-10 Euros) and then have unlimited access to whatever food spread the restaurant has for the day.  The highlights of our aperitivo experience were: black beans, Spanish rice, bean and barley salad, guacamole, and grilled veggies (eggplant, zucchini, and tomatoes)!
