Home...

To anyone visiting Washington DC, we recommend getting bikes for any sort of transportation in the city. Most of the streets have bike paths or large sidewalks which make it easy to get anywhere that you need. We were able to park the car in the hotel parking lot at check-in and leave it there for two days until we checked out. As you can see from the photos in our slideshow, being on bikes allowed us to pack quite a few things into a relatively short amount of time.

After we left DC yesterday, we stopped in Baltimore, Maryland for dinner. It was late and we were driving around in circles, so we stopped at a traffic light and asked a lady in the car next to us where to eat. She recommended Regis American Bistro in Federal Hill. We got the vegetable crab soup, salad, and the blackened tilapia wrap with fries. Everything was soooo good! The soup had tons of big chunks of crab meat! The salad was really good with mixed greens, apple slices, cranberries, goat cheese and candied walnuts. The blackened tilapia wrap was great and the fries were insanely good! Highly recommend going there to anyone in the area!
We are now back home in NYC, happy and moved into our apartment for the next month in the East Village.

Spin City

Arrived in DC last night to the beautiful Marriott for a few nights thanks to a great birthday gift from the Sells. Went for a late dinner at Jaleo on 7th Street where we ate great tapas (i.e. steamed mussels, roasted peppers stuffed with goat cheese, eggplant saute, and campera salad. Woke up to an impressive complimentary breakfast in the concierge lounge and are off to throw shakas at Obama!!!
