People watching at Pocitos beach walk (La Rambla), one block from our apartment, is enjoyable for many reasons. It seems that drinking alcohol on the street is either legal or if illegal, is not enforced. So we can sit on a bench with a liter of Patricia in hand and observe the parade of extraordinary humanity with the added benefit that since we are speaking English, our commentary on said parade is relatively undecipherable to the very subjects of our discussion. While not proud of our judgmental ripping, we don’t feel we have the ability or responsibility really to be bigger people either. This is mainly due to the fact that 90% of the people who walk down the beach walk have some variation of a mullet, rat-tail, Mohawk, or some disgusting combination. But, by far, the best reason to visit the beach walk is the very long sunsets:
