We were trying to think of all the interesting ways to compare and contrast yesterday's beach day with Hawaii beaches. After much thought, we decided to explain it by saying that we had a great beach experience at Far Rockaway in NYC. Todd and James Ducca surfed a little left off of a groin and Amanda and I enjoyed some stand-up paddling. After we were all fried from the sun, we headed to a much talked about taco stand called Rockaway tacos for some fish tacos and sweet plantain chips.
