We arrived to windy, head-high conditions at Jeffrey's Bay and Todd caught a couple of good, long rights before getting dropped in on and breaking a fin on his rented board. His session was cut short, but fun never the less.
After Todd got a surf in, we drove a few hours to a private game reserve called Schotia for an afternoon/evening of safari drives and dinner. Our tour guide Carl, who was ridiculously smart and a great tour guide, drove us around in this truck searching for animals.
Here are photos and a video from our safari:
Although the "African" dinner was not really "African" or that good, the safari was a great experience! We got up close and personal to all of the animals and our guide provided tons of interesting information along the way!
