Vape n' Vino during the "Magic HourS!

It is official-  IT IS HOT IN MILAN!
Nearly every evening we are fortunate enough to enjoy the sunset together.  The chimes from a nearby duomo at around 6:15pm (we do not understand the timing of any of the chimes)  have come to mark the "beginning of sunset".  What we have learned is that there is absolutely no hurry when we hear the chimes.  In fact, we find ourselves constantly marveling and commenting on the leisurely pace of the sun's actual setting.  In Hawaii, we are used to the "magic hour" of the sun being on the horizon actually lasting about 30 minutes.  From what we can tell here at this time of year, the sun drifts along the horizon from about the time we hear the chimes until about 10 pm!  We have time to grab a drink, check our charts for the next day, make and eat dinner (tonight we're making our second home-made pizza!), write a blog, and grab another drink all within a single incredible sunset! The light is absolutely beautiful for HOURS AND HOURS.  If photographers in Hawaii had this amount of "sunset" time, we could shoot all of 2012's shoots in about a month!
That's the good.
Here's the bad:
After a hot day of castings, the gym/swimming, we frequently consider bumping the volleyball around.  Unfortunately, every time we've tried, our sessions have been cut short because we couldn't stand the flies/gnats/mosquitoes bombarding us while we tried to rally.  It is driving us CRAZY!
Also, here, as in many places we've been, there are no screens to prevent these same flying creatures from joining us in our home.  These facts (and the fact that we do not have AC) have resulted in our tradition of vape n' vino for magic hour...
