Been there...

To some extent, we feel that most of the places we have been, we've "been there - done that".  We don't have any real regrets about any of the places we've been, but there are only a very few places we feel we really have to revisit.  Barcelona, Spain is one of these places.  We have "been there", but we don't feel like we have really "done that".  We could (and would like to) spend much more time there.

Because of the "economic crisis", it was not on our list but, to get from the South of France to Loule, Portugal (where we will be doing some helpx-ing), Barcelona was a natural stopping point.  We stopped for two days and two nights and we were left with the feeling that that was not nearly enough time for such a great city!  Here are some photos from our whirlwind tour:
The Port of Barcelona
We found a really great market off La Rambla (the street not really the beach)
The Sagrada Familia
There are recycle bins for everything all over the city
The Poble Espanyol de Montjuic
And, the best fake-statue-guy we've ever seen!
