Another Festival Under Our Belt

All Good is finally over.  It was definitely easier than Bonnaroo, but we are really happy to be home and finished working around all of the dirty hippies.  The All Good festival is four days of Greatful Deadish revelry complete with the usual hula-hooping, hackie sack, incense, glow sticks, armpit hair, body odor, and dreads.  To really set itself apart this time though, there was a girl who gave birth to a child she knew nothing about.  We have both decided that festivals are not good for you.

Before we left West Virginia, we visited a swimming hole on the Cheat River called the Blue Pool.  To get to it, you have to drive down a long dirt and boulder-filled road which leads you to a bridge that seems a bit sketchy.  Once over the bridge, you park (and definitely lock the car), walk past all the hippies, and find the trail that leads down to the pool.  The water was surprisingly comfortable and very pretty!  We even got to play with a big catfish!
We also stopped in Hershey, PA to take a tour of the Hershey factory.  The tour is basically a ride that shows you the chocolate-making process.  The ride was impressive and reminiscent of the It's A Small World ride at Disneyland.  And, at the end, they give you a small Hershey chocolate bar to sample.
After all of our road tripping, we are definitely ready to enjoy New York City for a while.  We just had our first home cooked dinner in a while and we can't wait for the next!
