I-ppudo. Do you?

Doncha love it when someone recommends a restaurant and it happens to be convenient? Well our studio is on 3rd avenue just above 12th street and Ippudo Ramen House happens to be on 4th avenue just below 10th street. THAT's convenience! We are grateful for Brandon's suggestion and doubly grateful for the convenience. Here's why: this incredible Ramen house was so packed at 9pm on a random Thursday that we were told the wait for a table for two was an hour. Usually a deal-breaker for us, on this occasion, we just smiled, came home, had a cocktail and returned to the crowded noodle joint in time to be seated. The bakuretu tofu and Hakata Tantan-men were so damn good that we will DEFINITELY be going back...which is why we're "doubly grateful" that it's so close. The place is "happening" and not ideal for quiet conversation but the overall experience certainly justifies the crowds. We are both confident in our claim that it's the best Ramen we've ever had!
