One of the great things about living in a place as opposed to visiting is finding the favorite, local hole-in-the-walls. We have recently discovered a small theatre, the Labia, which shows art house and second-run movies at a discount rate of R30 ($4.50 US).
While the seats are not the most comfortable and the celluloid itself may have seen better days, the ambiance and great price made for a more than pleasant movie experience! As for the movie we watched, The King's Speech, it was f-f-f-f-fan, f-f-f-fantas... it was pretty good.
