2nd Day in Cinque Terre

Our second and final day in Cinque Terre was amazing!  We took the train from our hotel in la Spezia up to the 1st village, Monterosso:

From there, we hiked to the second village called Vernazza.  The hike was much longer and more difficult than the Via Del Amore from the day before, with tons of stairs up and down. The views were incredible the entire hike and there were tons of grapevines, figs and blackberries along the way!  Here are photos from the hike:

The first hike was so much fun, that we decided to hike from Vernazza to the 3rd village, Corniglia.  Here is a photo of Corniglia:

The final trail was closed, or else we would have taken that one on as well :)

Cinque Terre is definitely worth a visit if possible.  The villages and the hikes are truly amazing!  We had a great time and are so happy that we finished or Italian adventure in the Ligurian Riviera!
