Food From A Cart

We had our first meal from a cart yesterday.  It was about lunchtime and we were at Union Square where there just happened to be a hot dog cart and a falafel cart right next to each other.  We decided "when in NYC...", so we ordered one hot dog and one falafel.  After eating it, we can definitively say that food from a cart is incredibly and surprisingly good- much better than Yankee stadium.

Congratulations to Lars and Annabel on their newborn baby, Oskar!  We brought the Hawaii tradition of cooking the new parents dinner at their house, and had a great time.

Today, after a bustling mid-town lunch with Amanda and a bike ride down the Hudson, we stopped in at the Museum of Sex out of pure curiosity.  Everyone here talks/knows about it, yet no one has ever been in it.  We figured out why.  When you walk in the front doors, you are actually in the gift shop where you can buy tons of weird sexual paraphernalia.  In order to enter the museum, you have to pay $16.  We did a quick scan of the gift shop, realized there couldn't really be much more to learn, and then left.  So, we can't recommend the Museum of Sex to anyone visiting the city.
