another day another dollar... and another incredible restaurant

So, workin'-girl Kristina is doin' "showroom" for a shoe company called Sam Edleman.  Her job entails getting a mani-pedi and struttin' her stuff in a mid-town showroom for various clients (shoe buyers) from stores like Bloomingdales and Nordstrom while someone from Sam Edelman expounds the virtues of each particular shoe.  It's a good gig but there's a threat that oven-mits for Kristina's feet are right around the corner.
The other concern is that Amanda is still in the process of visiting her favorite restaurants on her farewell tour and Kristina's work schedule seems to conflict with said tour.
We managed however to fit in "Spice Market" (a very trendy, popular and worthy Asian-fusion street food restaurant on 13th st.) on Wed. night.  We enjoyed the VIP treatment that Amanda commands and sucked down a couple of pitchers of ginger margaritas and sampled dishes from the restaurant week menu that left us stuffed and happy.  Thanks MOM!
Here is a picture of Kristina after work hurrying to catch up with us for a walk at Highline Park (look it up if you don't know!) on the way to Spice Market. . .
