Happy New Year

After sleeping off a long day of hard work consisting of multiple make-out scenes for an ice cream ad, we ventured out in search of New Year’s Eve brunch. The second we stepped outside, we noticed that the streets were littered with confetti-like shreds of 2010 calendars.
Apparently, the last working day of the year is a half day where everyone prepares for the New Year by shredding the previous year’s calendars and day planners.  They then throw all of the pieces out the windows showering the streets below.

We have yet to finalize our evening plans to bring in the New Year, but we have time since the sun doesn’t set until 9:30.
