Lion's Head Mountain

Yesterday, we joined our friends, Henrique and Maria, for a hike up to the top of Lion’s Head Mountain (a Cape Town landmark and a popular spot to hike and watch the sunset).  It was a nice, easy hike with a small patch of “rock climbing” and a panoramic payoff at the end!  So far, it is the best hike we’ve done since we left home over 9 months ago!

You gotta go to Haans Baay and see the sharks. Just make sure they have a permit to anchor in the channel. Thats where I saw a seal get taken and we saw a 4 1/2 meter white whilst in the cage. One of the most unbelievable things I did over there. Be careful in the bongo vans. Biggest stack I have ever seen including working in the fireys was 2 of these vans....! How goods Africa. Go up to Lesotho up the Sani pass. Fantastic, they still shear sheep by hand, live in cow poo huts etc step back in time. Drakensburg ranges great walking. Looks like alls well. Seee you guys if you get to Oz. Take care BT
